Welcome to entry #3 in our Reservoir Series, our experimental series of beers: A no-coast pale ale created by our Kingston brewer, Jason.
What You’ll Love About It
West coast, East coast, New England, hazy, whatever. This beer bridges what's best about a pale ale to deliver an accessible and delicious beer that's perfect for both the end of summer and the start of fall.
How It's Made
This beer has a pale malt base with a touch of oats, taking a back seat to some pretty impressive hops. Cascade in the boil brings a pine-forward bitterness, Michigan Chinook offers grapefruit and pineapple flavours, and a big Motueka dry hop finishes things off with aromas of lime and citrus.
Why Is It Called Crystal Lake?
Because it was made by a dude with the world's largest collection of Friday the 13th t-shirts.
How To Enjoy It
Out of the fridge, in your favourite beer glass, with a good horror movie playing.
Did You Know?
This is the first SITW beer completely created by brewer Jason for us. But it most definitely will not be the last.
